Marin and Nate’s June 2024 wedding in Calgary was nothing short of incredible—a day filled with love, laughter, and so many unique touches that made it unforgettable. I first met these two at Mac and Maddie’s wedding, and from the moment I talked to them, I knew I would love being part of their big day. Marin and Nate are such warm, fun, and genuine people, and their wedding reflected that in every way. It was such a pleasure to witness the deep love they share and the joy their families and friends felt in celebrating their union.
Their day began with a heartfelt church ceremony, where every vow and glance was full of meaning. The celebration continued with a gorgeous backyard reception that was nothing short of magical. From delicious food and lively dancing to the surprise of a petting zoo (yes, a petting zoo!), the entire day was overflowing with personality and charm.
As their photographer, I was lucky enough to document it all using both digital and 35mm film. The film added a layer of nostalgia and warmth to the gallery that perfectly complemented the intimate and joyful vibe of the day. Whether it was capturing candid moments during the reception or quiet, romantic portraits of the two of them, every frame told the story of their love in a way that felt timeless and heartfelt.
